This is what is important. As credit is harder to get, your chances of finding well-paid work are diminishing too. If you remain unemployed too long, you will begin to lose your skills and become unemployable. Younger, cheaper workers at home and abroad are taking the few positions that are becoming available.
There are some very bright people who believe that we will see extra-ordinary inflation in the next 18 months, the likes of which we have never seen before. Many people who do not control their incomes, will lose everything! Refusing to see the options for self-employment or business ownership is foolhardy at this time. Beginning to think like a business man or business woman may not just be prudent, but could be critical to your survival.
Personal growth and development, must first of all, become personal to you. You are going to have to give some serious thought to creating your own income in one way or another, even if you are currently employed. The signs are all around you, and you must begin to take them seriously. How secure is your job? As long as you do not have 100 percent control over the sources of your income, your personal financial position is not secure. These are two sure-fire ways to gain growth and personal development in the coming months.

Who are you? when you are alone and you are thinking about life, what do you think? Are you contented that your positive outlook on life is taking you to better places every day? If that is not true, then you should create a new vision for yourself. Your vision is not a list of things you should be doing. Your vision is who you are in secret. It is formed by what you think about you. Are you a successful person, generous and growing in most areas of your life? Or are you an unhappy person who is constantly lamenting your failures, your missed opportunities, and your current unfulfilled dreams? Only you can decide, but decide quickly. You are running out of time.
Your vision of who you are is important because in large part, you create your vision by your silent thoughts, your spoken words, and what you tell yourself to be true about you. Your sub-conscious mind actually goes to work day and night, taking your thoughts and turning them into your reality. Even fear of being broke can negatively influence your vision and programme you to remain poor.
If you want to grow in 2011, you need a clear vision of who you will become in 2011 and beyond. Let that be your comfort in rough times. Decide who you want to be and start telling yourself that you are that person. Yes, I know it sounds trite, but if everything else you have tried have not worked for you so far, what do you have to lose?
Prepare a new vision for yourself. write it down. Make sure your plan covers the most important facets of your life; professional, spiritual, family, and financial. Do it today. It is early days in 2011 yet, so now is a good time to get it done.

Listen. You have 24 hours in every day like all of us. What you do with it is up to you. If you work a job, it means you have already pledged some of that time in exchange for money. If you watch 3 hours of TV each day, that is your choice, but something else won’t get done. If you sleep 8 hours a day, that is your choice too. You may get more beautiful, but much poorer. If you spend too much money on entertainment, then you will pay for that in loss savings and forfeited investment opportunities.
If you have not read a good book in six months, you are probably not growing, and your opportunities have moved on to someone who was more prepared. You cannot just stand still, waiting on luck to get you to a prosperous future. It usually does not work like that!
But if you decide to take 100% responsibility for your future, you can have a very different life from what you had last year. If you are serious, you can begin by creating a game plan, a road map of sorts, which will be your guide for the next 12 months. How will you achieve your goals or your plans? Will you find another part-time job? or look for a way to earn your living as a small business owner? Do you have any idea of what kind of businesses will make money this year? All these are important questions, but we are just touching the tip of the iceberg here.
You do not have as much time as you thought. No one is going to go out and create prosperity for you. Success takes a plan, so if you want to succeed beyond your wildest dreams, you will have to have some wild dreams first. To fail in life, you just have to make no plan at all, but to succeed,you will need a plan. Your personal growth and development demands no less. Your future demands your best, now!
